Commercial Photography Services
James is an experienced professional landscape photographer who is enthused to take on commercial work tailored to meet your needs. I can shoot for small businesses through to big enterprises, for anything from landscape photography all the way to indoor cottage shoots.
James offers competitive rates while still priding himself on providing excellent results. He has a proven track record with experience working on both single projects and ongoing relationships for a multitude of firms. You can see some of the examples below.
Based in the Peak District, he has an ideal spring board to shoot local scenes but more than willing to travel nationally, or even internationally, as he has done before!
If you would like to commission any images found on this website, please email to discuss rates and he guarantees to beat the price of any traditional stock agency price.
James worked on a project to promote the Sony Xperia 5 II mobile phone and its capabilities with its multiple cameras and ability to shoot RAW as well as using the Sony Mobile Photo Pro App. The objective was to shoot professional photos using the phone in Snowdonia and capture a feel of somewhere that could feel alp like with a view of shooting a location less common and popular than the usual hotspots such as Snowdon and the Ogwen Valley.
Blacks and Ultimate Outdoors
James worked on a continued relationship with JD Sports providing imagery for their sub-brands, Blacks Outdoors and Ultimate Outdoors. A brief was worked to, usually with an aim to capture the beauty of a certain area close to the store while allowing James to put forward his vision of the area and the landscape it presented. The finished results were used both in-store and on the web. Images were often blown up for store walls, as well as for tags, small detailed areas and promotional use. A lot of the images were used to help rebrand both Blacks and Ultimate Outdoors after their acquisition by JD Sports.
Monarch Airlines were an international airline who required an outdoors commission to be done on the island of Cyprus. They wanted to show, that an island with a reputation for partying and tourism could have an alternative unseen side. A broad brief was given to capture the unseen beauty and this included travelling the island, shooting the coast all the way to the top of the Troodos Mountains, from sunrise until way past sunset.
As part of their re-launch, Peter Storm, the inventors of the cagoule commission imagery of wet weather to use on swing tags on their new line of products.
